Anele Abraham

Anele Abraham is a Project Coordinator in the Division of Immunology at Stellenbosch University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Anele coordinates international research and training programmes within the Reproductive Immunology Research Consortium in Africa (RIRCA). Responsibilities include project coordination, research administration, stakeholder engagement, financial and grant administration, and the coordination of consortium activities.

Anele holds a BSc Honours in Agricultural Economics and has extensive experience in research and higher education administration. Prior to joining the Division of Immunology, Anele worked in the Division of Medical Ethics and Law and the Department of Earth Sciences at Stellenbosch University, the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Cape Town, and the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). Anele is committed to supporting research excellence, capacity development, and collaborative scientific initiatives that strengthen health research across Africa.
